@lelisaur @Spl_Reecey ok well if i’m supposed to be the mechanic then why even give me the option to choose at all? i’d rather just play as the established inkling character from the promo than just giving me the false illusion of freedom to choose and make it have a certain look.

I can kinda see the point, I think most of the tactical gear having crop tops is a bit odd. Apart from that though I think it's pretty cool how gender norms just don't exist in Splatoon

@DarklingGaymer No I want them to have multiple animations depending on the look you choose for your character. it’s the bare minimum. Honestly if I’m just supposed to be the mechanic then I’d rather just not get the option to choose at all and just play as the inkling from

this is so fucking annoying how NO ONE talks about this or it's unnoticed. the boy inklings don't look/act/feel like boys ever since 3. it's even worse in Raiders with the animations and type of outfits.

@DarklingGaymer Ok but that’s you? I knew what gay was back in 2016 when I was 15. splatoon 3 was fine too since the clothing options were great. I don’t get why raiders pivots to only trying to satisfy one group within the fandom with the look of the inklings and the terrible neutral options

@rexmon02 Cuz it's the future of the franchise probably and of course in Splatoon 1 it was because most of the playerbase including myself was kids so we didn't know what gay was or if we did it was used as a "joke". Splatoon 4 it will probably be like this too.

@DarklingGaymer Um no? I’ve been playing the series since 2016 with splatoon 1 and it was fine before since the clothing options were masculine enough to my liking and my inkling didn’t look and move like a femboy.

@rexmon02 Oh then this shouldn't be an issue for u. Again maybe look for a different franchise if it's a big issue for u. There's plenty of games out there with masculine characters already.

@rexmon02 I recommend u play Fortnite then but even then still looking gay so lol. Splatoon is ink shooter where every character apart from a few random npcs are just slim. Also Splatoons playerbase is largely LGBT so it makes sense.
