they all care for each other so much that if any Bad Things happened to one another they'd all feel guilt but hide it from each other ...but it fills them with resentment too and its all complicated because of their childhood being horrible in varying ways. Ugly Things they are

i like to think andrew wouldn't even tell them everything ivan did at first. once they find out, sonnet would be bitter about not being able to be there for andrew but openly hoping the worst for ivan, maybe not being told ivan committed. (continued in comments)

rowan would be more weary but not paranoid. andrew's parents are manipulative as hell and if rowan found out a possible lover could also treat them as horribly as them, it'd drive him insane at first but he'd still end up confident that good people exist

sonnet doesnt like ivan at all. she did at first bc she trusted andrew's judgement, but the more she heard of him the more weary she felt rowan wouldnt come to his own opinion of him and follow what sonnet rants about + post-BT they both him for Obvious Reasons
