I don’t think any country will adopt crypto natively unless it is clearly 300-1,000% better than whatever they are doing now. All the white papers and theoretical L1 & L2 are not important. If you cannot show the GDP going up and debt going down, it’s just more crypto abstractions no one really wants or needs (or has the time or skills to operate)

The threats to Putin are: - Europe and the USA getting along (coherent military threat) - Europe getting along with itself (coherent military threat) - China getting ideas behind its back - China and the USA getting along (the Nixon state) - Native population color revolution (huge) - India and the USA getting along (energy sales) - Local oligarchs overthrowing him (very high) - Europe, India, China no longer buying natural resources or gas A low level war that lets him ensure everyone is aligned (BRICS all buying gas and vaguely in favor of keeping Europe and USA having to pay the bill) but never crosses into WWIII is the optimal state. He will do this forever if he can, this war quite literally solves all of his problems at once.

@rexstjohn Douglas Murray shills for Israel. Nothing he says is credible. Putin wants to sell gas to Germany. Moscow and Berlin went to war twice last century and had more casualties than every other nation combined. Having friendly relations and good economic cooperation deters this.

This is very smart. It has been noted that agriculture arrived with a number of changes to human anatomy (thinner skulls) indicating "self domestication." What you are saying is that autists are a further stage of self domestication for a world of abstract systems. This is very likely happening. The pre-autistic parents better survive the environment (zero agency institutions) so their offspring manifest their traits. Smart!

@hyetigran Putin wants to carve Germany out of Europe, it will cause a cascade and flip every European country conservative. If that happens, Putin categorically wins the continent. And it is happening.

@rexstjohn It's really much simpler than all that. Putin has been consistent that the conflict is due to security concerns i.e. nuclear tipped missile silos on their border.
