Tonight the AECRP said goodbye and good luck to Magali Millecamps who has worked with us for 19 years. She starts a faculty position with UdeM on Dec 1st, so the count down is winding down. Magali has done many things while here, including being one of the co-founders of the @QNJPI_PAINtalks. And who is that man on the right with a full head of hair? Could that be @UTDPainLab?

A shout out to Franco Carli, former Chair of Anesthesiology at McGill/MUHC, for the work he did advancing the idea of prehabilitation for patients schedule for surgery. There is growing international interest in this and patient outcomes look positive. From the article: "A person is evaluated for their exercise tolerance, physical strength, nutrition and mental health, and a customized plan is drawn up for them by a multidisciplinary team. Perioperative physicians, nurses, kinesiologists, physiotherapists, and nutritionists are all included and provide their expertise." For those who work in pain clinics, sound familiar? bit.ly/3AGo8mI @McGillMed @mcgillpainunit @mcgillanesthes

Earlier this year we had a book launch for The Brain Colouring Book. It was a great event mixing together friends, colleagues and our kids! And as far as I know, this was the FIRST colouring book launch to be held at @mcgillu! :)
