TETHER SIGNS MOU WITH THE REPUBLIC OF GUINEA TO ACCELERATE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND ECONOMIC GROWTH VIA BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY
- @tether announced today that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of the Republic of Guinea.
- The collaboration aims to explore blockchain and peer-to-peer technologies, drive economic growth, and position Guinea as a leader in Africa’s digital transformation.

- The MoU reflects Tether’s mission to support global blockchain adoption. It focuses on fostering innovation, education, and responsible digital asset use.

This MoU reflects our commitment to helping countries build resilient digital economies. Together, we aim to implement efficient blockchain solutions that benefit both public and private sectors, paving the way for economic growth and establishing Guinea as a leader in technological innovation," Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino lauded the collaboration.
- The initiative aims to establish a foundation for sustainable digital transformation in Guinea across the following areas:
• Education and Innovation: The partnership will facilitate international knowledge transfer for best practices and integrate blockchain expertise and education through the collaboration with Cité des Sciences et de l’Innovation de Guinée (CSIG).
- Moving forward, educational programs will be introduced across public and private sectors to raise awareness, build skills, and cultivate local talent in digital technologies.
• Supporting Guinea’s ‘Innovation City’ Project: • Tether will contribute to the country’s Innovation City project;
- This initiative aims to position Guinea as a leader in the digital economy by fostering research, technology, and entrepreneurship, which aligns with the government's broader goals of economic growth and technological innovation.
