I couldn't be less surprised that we've started second best, and I fully expect it to continue. Constant formation changes are a recipe for disaster, and relying on a Wing worldie or Marriott to do something out of nothing is not a strategy. #ReadingFC

Classic example of going down early to a well-drilled team who make it difficult, and we've been incapable of showing any real quality in the final third. Awful from Dorsett for the goal, and Keane looks off the pace. All a bit disjointed, need a big second half. #readingfc

Aside from the improvements in intensity and structure, loved that we didn’t drop too deep to hold on and kept playing. Lovely cameo from R. Williams, liked the double up RB sub to shift Ritchie inside after he was done a couple of times. Clean sheet. Can’t complain! #readingfc
