I don’t know why the new regime in Syria is so hell bent on a unitary state. Why not give Jabal Druze, the Alawite coast, and Kurdish north devolved powers in a federation? The French model where the center dictates everything to the periphery does more harm than good.

@karim_eh @3blue1brown Exactly. I teach a course in network analysis, which requires foundations in linear algebra. I can’t cover those foundations, so I outsource them to @3blue1brown. I just add the relevant links in my slides.
