I’m not sure why we still have a monarch. It seems like a medieval anachronism to me; a demonstration of inherited status and the the pinnacle of an entrenched aristocracy. And I’m really not sure why our monarch has gone to the US to stand next to another man with too much power, land and money.

When H and MM were working royals, they traveled with the Metropolitan police paid for by UK taxpayers. With their trips included, it has amounted to almost £10mn over the course of 5 years. If he is granted IPP, Australia may be legally obligated to cover the cost and this goes for any country they decide to visit, something many are furious about. They can become globetrotters and the countries will be obligated to pay for them, something H and MM are demanding from public records
