It’s not just offensively where Walker has been much better, he’s not getting enough credit for what he’s doing in RF, starting to figure it out and one of the best arms in all of baseball

@STL_Stats_Facts @reecec1102 I see that, but for a guy that doesn’t hit homeruns and has speed that’s not good enough to be just below average in Ks. His last two springs and starts to seasons are alarming and he’s not good enough offensively to catch up. He’s my favorite player, but he’s bad offensively

If you thought Masyn Winn batting cleanup was odd, known power threat Luis Arraez has been batting cleanup for the Giants. He's hitting .304 with 1 XBH (a double) and 1 RBI in 6 games this year.

@reecec1102 @STL_Stats_Facts Good point, hell just be an average hitter with his defense. The strikeouts bother me the most, he and Scott drive me nuts striking out

@reecec1102 @STL_Stats_Facts 100% agree, Winn is crazy good defensively, maybe the best. But he’s been nothing short of awful at the plate, well below average. Hope that changes

@rforest13 @STL_Stats_Facts But he’s a horrible defender at an easier defensive position. Winn will end up the more valuable player at the end of the year

@STL_Stats_Facts I actually think hitting him leadoff is less pressure on him, he’s an on base guy, it allows him to do just what he’s good at, take walks and get on base, not worry about more power or whatever. I love Winn but he’s been absolutely awful as a leadoff hitter getting on base

How my lineup construction would go: SS Winn 1B Burleson C Herrera 2B Wetherholt DH Gorman/Velazquez 3B Saggese/Urias RF Walker LF Fermin/Church CF Scott I think Wetherholt maybe leads off eventually but I think thats a lot of pressure for him on opening day. But I also cant justify putting him lower than their current 5-9.
