@chutneylife It is related with swedish culture where there is/was a tradition of replacing your home furnitures once per year, cant remember if at summer/spring etc. The IKEA concept was created to fullfill that need.

I don’t get the IKEA appeal. Stuff is cheaper because it’s lacking quality.

What’s the solution for this? 1) Open the door really slowly and try to hold the bowls by the edge? 2) Open the door really fast but underneath you are holding a large wide bucket with a bunch of soft towels to cause a soft landing? 3) There’s actually another sliding door on the right not shown in the pic which you can access the bowls from? 4) Just let all the bowls drop and shatter since they’re ugly anyways? And you just like chaos too. What would you do?
