@promethium is changing something on solana mining was basically dead on solana. no asics, no proof-of-work, nothing left to actually grind out. every "miner" you've seen there is a mint button with a countdown timer. But promethium said screw that and built a real one anyway.

Ethereum was once PoW {Proof of Work} but in 2022 it switched to PoS {Proof of Stake} making the network more energy efficient No more solving puzzles to mine Hello staking, lock up ETH to secure the ntework 32ETH for solo stake but less if you wanted to stake in pool

3 problems people flatten into 1: Sybil resistance decides WHO gets a voice. Consensus decides HOW those voices agree despite liars among them. Finality decides WHEN that agreement becomes unbreakable. Mix these up and you'll misdiagnose every "the blockchain got hacked" headline

This is why exchanges, bridges, and lending protocols treat "confirmed" and "final" as separate risk tiers A reorg on an unfinalized chain isn't cosmetic it can double-spend a deposit, unwind a liquidation that already paid out, or invalidate a bridge withdrawal already sent.
