A single person can spin up 10,000 fake identities on a public blockchain. No ID check, no gatekeeper that's the whole point of PERMISSIONLESS So what stops that one person from just... voting 10,000 times?

Send Bitcoin to an exchange and it sits "unconfirmed" for almost an hour before you can trade it. Send a stablecoin on some PoS chains and it's done in seconds. Both screens say "confirmed." They're not making the same promise.
