A poignant pre-match moment, as Sir Alex Ferguson joined the Law family to pay tribute to a Scotland legend 👏

On the 17th of January our patron Denis Law passed away, leaving a tremendous legacy. A legacy for us to build upon and help shape our direction as a charity dedicated to improving the lives of others. Our Chief Operating Officer, Mark Williams, was honoured to pay tribute to Denis at Manchester Cathedral on the 11th February. During this celebration of Denis's life, Mark reflected on Denis's legacy and the impact his roots, actions, ethics and core values had when shaping his life and commitment to others. These are the traits Denis Law Legacy Trust will commit to continue and build upon in Denis's name and honour his legacy as we grow as a charity and empower more young people and the communities that they live in. Plans are underway on several projects and programmes to mark and enhance the already impactful work of the Trust. For now, we leave you with a little insight to the lighter side of Denis.... A statement from Denis Law Legacy Trust: “We are deeply saddened by the loss of Denis and our foremost thoughts are with his family and close friends during this very sad time”. “Denis was Scotland’s greatest ever footballer and a proud Aberdonian. As Patron of the charity that was built in his honour, he was an inspirational figure for so many people in the city.”

Had a great time organising this in partnership with @skillsdevscot. This was our 2nd workshop with SDS and it’s been great to see young people who wouldn’t normally engage with these types of services come along, engage and provide great feedback. More to come in 2025🙏

Great to be at Northfield Academy this morning. What a great opportunity it was to talk to pupils about the impact of CREW and what support they would like to see in the future through Denis Law’s Academy. Thanks again to Amy and the Northfield team for their support.

This trial education programme introduced young people considering a career in healthcare to various fields of clinical practice through immersive talks, interactive sessions, and site tours @NHSGrampian
