I can’t stop thinking about @SarahKSilverman ‘s musical, The Bedwetter. There was nothing more perfectly suited to make me laugh out loud and then completely sob. It’s a good one.

Continued my theater adventures with The Bedwetter at @arenastage - what a beautiful, hilarious, important, and emotional show. I hope this one goes far!

My heart has sunk to the dreadful words: no more hostages released by Hamas until further notice. The hostages are our lives. Our family. Our souls. For Hamas, this is a sick game. A twisted joke. An evil plot. Their cruelty knows no bounds. This pain will never be forgotten.

@ruzeksburgess I had to check myself. I had a rough day and was looking forward to the escape tonight and we broke into breaking news 30 minutes before it went national. But also it’s unbelievable to believe - it’s literally 2 miles from me.

if you’re complaining about one chicago being interrupted because of the tragic incident in DC … maybe you should rethink your priorities

@lynnenews1 We are assuming that there definitely will be - the news is saying that with the temperature they have to find them in 15-20 minutes before hypothermia sets in. They have reported a few have already been rescued though.

Welp. I guess I’m finishing #OneChicagoCrossover tomorrow because DC is all breaking news now.

@lynnenews1 Yep. American Airlines commercial flight with a military helicopter. The news is showing the most firetrucks I’ve ever seen.

I can't believe I have to say this: Holocaust Memorial Day is about the Holocaust. Stop universalizing the Holocaust. Stop minimizing the horrors of the Holocaust. Stop weaponizing the Holocaust for your political agenda. Stop speaking over Jews. It's that simple.

Second trip in a row where going through regular security was better than pre-check. @AUStinAirport, maybe it's time to rethink putting ore-check all in one place?

It’s the middle of winter. Humidifiers are most needed now. I’ve been patient and submitted nearly 20 tickets at this point and I can’t get any help.

If you’re considering a humidifier from @get_canopy , I’d urge you to reconsider. Not only do they not that ship the filters they charge you for, but their customer service doesn’t reply after an initial email asking for follow up information.

How feasible would it be for me to just have full-time access to an upbeat musical at all times. & Juliet just beat Xanax at calming my anxiety this week.

If this isn’t the best opening to #SpotifyWrapped2024 , I don’t know what is. I can’t stop laughing, and I can’t help but wonder if there had to be a human who decided just where to start the clip because it’s just too perfect.

And that last scene with the family tree. I literally reenacted that scene with my grandfather in 5th grade. I guess it’s something our families just do.

I’ll be thinking about this show for days.

I just walked out of Leopoldstadt at @ShakespeareinDC . I knew nothing about the show other than it had Jewish themes and @JoshMalina was in it on Broadway. I don’t think I’ve ever been so moved in a theater - what a phenomenally brilliant story.
