Day 100/100 of my cybersecurity journey (starting from 0 EXPERIENCE) 100 days ago, I had zero experience, zero confidence, and no idea where to start. I just knew I wanted a different future. Today, I’m not the same person. I’ve built real skills. I’ve earned certs. I’ve stayed disciplined when it would’ve been easier to quit. I’ve found bugs. I proved to myself that consistency matters more than talent. This isn’t the finish line. It’s the end of Chapter 1. and now Chapter 2 begins: preparing for Network+, with the exam set for December

Hey @rhuebarbs if you ever want to try Security+ “hands on”, and of you have a laptop or desktop computer with at least 16 GB of RAM or more, and you can download/install the free Broadcom VMware Workstation Pro virtualization software, you can ask (prompt) Claude or ChatGPT AI to create labs using VMware Workstation that align to the core competencies of the certification, specify it in word doc or editable pdf and it will shoot out practice labs for you. I did this for one of my mentees using Claude Opus 4.6 and it produced 20+ labs. You’ll end up using great cyber tools like pfSense Firewall, Splunk, Wazih, Kali Linux, Security Onion, Nessus, Metasploitable, etc. Cheers 🤗
