You have had a massive part of bringing an over dose prevention centre to Scotland and hopefully throughout the UK. Since listening to you on the drug science podcast, I have been following your work!

My article in the @TheScotsman this weekend talked abt Scotland now abt to open safer consumption rooms but also focused on why after 2.5 years we're still no further forward with diamorphine treatments as delivered by @dannyahmed76 despite the promise to fund this vital treatment by April 2021 by the previous First Minster. I and the handful of volunteers including Paul Sweeney will all feel a sense of validation having proved this works and can do in current legal frameworks as we said from the beginning, but now is not a time for celebration as drugs deaths rise again and the dangers of synthetic drugs take hold. Questions must be asked and the Scottish Government pushed on answers to why things which are evidence based and we know work are still not in place.
