Instead of middle-aged podcasters telling folks what they should think about Ashley Sheatz's testimony, here is Ashley telling us what she thinks about it: "But I wasn’t embarrassed at all by it because I’ve been sharing my testimony for years. It was more of a “Praise God, Praise God that my testimony is being seen by millions of people, millions of unsaved people, and the gospel is being magnified in that. I have zero shame. And my husband knows I do not mind him at all sharing any aspects of my testimony. He’s a wise, godly man. I trust what he does. And he is discreet when he needs to be. I have no issues with it." The godliness this young woman has shown in the face of serious slander, snarkiness, unfairness, and outright hostility has been a serious blessing to many of us. @AshleySheatz, the way you have weathered this (with Trevor!) has edified so many, and even strengthened our faith in some way. And that is to say NOTHING of the millions of people who have now heard of God's amazing grace in your life. Amazing! There will be people in heaven, I am guessing, because of this.

The backlash to @TrevorSheatz’s viral X post has been HUGE. Some people responded saying, "I can't believe you just called your wife a wh*re." He did not call his wife that. You called his wife that. You called another man's wife that. You called a new creation— someone redeemed by Christ, sanctified, made new, and washed clean— a wh*re. That is on you. Not her husband. The hyper patriarchy bros who call themselves Christians out there who just want to take any opportunity not only to denigrate women, but to denigrate the work of the Gospel… it's just insane. It's a very obvious tenet of Christianity that you have become a new creation. Somehow that’s now being treated like it’s controversial?

You can be fired at any time and then you have no income or health insurance. A successful business owner has much more flexibility. And makes much more money in most instances. And receives much more favorable tax treatment. I have also done both

Unless you're joining another company. Which would mean no disruption. If you're terminated you have severance for a while which can minimize/eliminate the disruption. Having done both I can't say one is better than the other re: Stability. It comes down to one's definition of "fire" I suppose.

“Third Worldism” is a good term and I use it myself, but I prefer other names like “race communism” for two reasons. 1. Its enemy is not just the West but white people explicitly. 2. “Third Worldism” sounds foreign and it’s not. It’s the ideology of the American empire.
