@stevage1 @FoodbankVic You'll also never know all the other orgs that your info will get sold off to (not saying Foodbank does this, but there are charities that do). So crooked.

Donated a couple of times to @FoodbankVic . Since then, frequent paper mailouts, email spams, now SMS. I didn't ask for any of this. It's so overbearing and unwarranted and really puts me off them as an org.

@mikelikesbikes @bjeanes It’s not the most useful language since most danish folks (esp in CPH) speak better English than native speakers. I got obsessed with Danish dramas though, which is a useful motivation and way to learn!

For me the festering issue is how our collective imaginary has been captured by a small group of techno-capitalists. We yearn for driverless cars, yet fail to imagine what a world without cars might look like. We starve our artists while we build machines to create art.

I wonder how many political journalists will read John Hewson's words and actually reflect on their failure? I suspect none.
