After a prolonged illness (and a trip that made it worse), I finally stepped out yesterday. No makeup, bad hair, no effort to “fix” myself. Just me,recovering, getting a drink.Somehow, being easy on myself made everything lighter. Posting this feels like a small act of bravery.
