Sharing some recent PoW L1 internal testing: our pow testnet(v2) runs clean on a Raspberry Pi 5B (8GB) and on an old i5 6600 with 8GB RAM and a GTX 1060 class GPU. When the barrier to run a node is this low, the network becomes genuinely unstoppable.🔒🛡️

I think a reliable settlement layer starts with keeping the full ledger small so more people can run it. I like Monero’s ASIC resistance, though CPU friendly designs can invite botnet compute. I also value Bitcoin’s small ledger and slow blocks. X Coin is an L1 built from first principles, small and steady, and one of our goals is to have the full ledger run on a Raspberry Pi.

Currently, the gas fees for SPL-to-SPL token swaps on Solana range between $0.1 to $0.5, which can be quite high for some users. Reducing these fees by 10x could significantly benefit the ecosystem's growth and accessibility. 🤔
