#wwfc | #WOLLIV | League or Cup? Picking a priority - opinion I think we need to be brutally honest: if we lose Friday, our season is over. I’m very much of the opinion that Wolves should be prioritising the cup game. I just think it makes total sense, especially with our league situation. You also have to ask which game would Liverpool prefer to win? They’ll, of course, expect to win both, but they’d much rather win the league encounter (because of Champions League football). Given the congested week ahead and Friday’s gargantuan effort, Wolves could quite easily justify making multiple changes for tonight’s game and so they should. Some may disagree, momentum being one argument and the decent break after Friday’s game being another. However, being in the cup for Monday’s draw gives us hope and something to dream about in what has been a miserable season.
