Another day, another Government minister grossly misleading the public on doctors pay. @Jeremy_Hunt told #r4today that doctors received an above-inflation pay award. But RPI was 11.4% in April. The pay award was 6%. Something doesn’t add up.

I'm not striking today as I'm on call. Pay and conditions need addressing across the board though. The generation of trainees coming through are phenomenally talented, ambitious, caring professionals. Healthcare is a global marketplace and the UK needs to compete to keep them
