Why don’t kids go the NJCAA route? Because people get in kids and parents ears telling them they can do better than that. It prevents them from looking at it as a viable and logical option. Instead of going somewhere, getting 100-200 level credits while figuring out what they want to study, competing daily and developing as a player, while paying $30-$40K less a year doing so, they chase the Division and the sweatshirt without realizing the bachelors degree you get is from the school you finished at. Yavapai College➡️Indiana University. Associates➡️Bachelors

And I think you’re giving very little credit to these athletes. Faced giving up their sport, they may think differently

Stay in your lane! 🚨 To the D2, D3, NAIA, and JC coaches- The Transfers from D1 schools posting on social media, you have little to no chance of getting them unless you offer a full ride with great academics/facilities. The truth is a lot of you are going to get ghosted from kids in the D1 portal. They would rather quit soccer and just attend a big D1 school for the student experience than to attend most schools at your levels. Know your market and don’t waste your time. #D1orBust #CSTruth
