@mypalfootfoot7 Alternatively. A kid might be able to stay at his parents friend's house while doing his exams as his own house has media outside 24/7. This one isn't a hill to die on.

@BBCNews Actually, the nation makes money from the royal family. This is because the monarch hands over all the revenue from the Crown Estates to the Treasury and, in return, receives a grant of 15--25%. (1 of 2)

Let’s settle this, is Nigel Farage a racist? Like if he is. RT if he is a traitor.

When you invest in shares, it's understood that if things go t*ts up you may lose your money. If Thames Water goes bust - which is looking more and more likely - there should be *no* taxpayer compensation for shareholders. It must be nationalised and taken into public control.

Completely straightforward congrats to a fantastic effort by team GB. As all decent PMs would do. Full marks. The bollocks in the comments.... Less so.
Keir Starmer@Keir_Starmer

To all our incredible @TeamGB athletes and support staff, well done and congratulations. You’re bringing home more than just medals. You’ve inspired a new generation of athletes while entertaining a nation. Thank you.

@PeterStefanovi2 Agree but can you do it without paying for a blue tick? Not a criticism - I know why you do but remove the revenue and someone else could take the reins?

🚨IT’S NEVER BEEN MORE IMPORTANT TO STAY I know it looks bleak on this platform at the moment & many have left over the past week. But as I see things it’s never been more important to stay. It’s up to all of us who believe in truth & justice & fairness & tolerance to call out the lies & misinformation with truth & facts & counter hate with the hope & love which I truely believe most of us feel in our hearts. I will stay & fight to my last breath to do that & I hope you will too. RT if you are with me❤️🙏

Tonight the far right are out in Sunderland, pissed up, off their faces and treating British cities how they treat European cities during England away matches. They’re not patriots, they don’t care about murdered kids, they’re a fucking embarrassment.

From 2011-2022, UK billionaires increased their wealth by £450 billion. The wealthiest 1% now hold more wealth than the poorest 70%. Let’s tax the super-rich, invest in our public services, spearhead a just green transition of the economy & scrap the two-child benefit cap now.

We've recently got some solar panels installed. Even with the dodgy July weather we only imported 17p of electricity from the grid this month. But we're still paying 64p a day standing charge. Feels wrong now I've turned into an energy nerd.
