I still think the Fugitive had a lot of potential. I remember at the time I was so down for an ancient Gallifrey story. I like the idea of there being Doctors who we don’t know about & before they became The Doctor we know. But sadly Jo is now just another Doctor. It’s a shame.

@BebopJosh @bbcdoctorwho The Troughton version is more sophisticated. It is smaller, thinner, and sleeker. It does still have the pentop clip, though.

@richjohnston @bbcdoctorwho Really doesn’t work, because the original screwdriver is primitive, and if he simply remembered how to make it, even if he subconsciously knew how to make it, it wouldn’t have been so primitive.

@WilliamWho27 My theory is the fugitive doctor made her sonic screwdriver because of her encounter with 13 and if she doesn't have her memories when she returns to galafrey before the end of her life it turns back to the TARDIS shape from the start of the show.

@WilliamWho27 She’s clearly not. She has a very different take on the universe and her role in it.
