@ScaryTTLady @_Alfista Quite likely. Although to be fair, Bluewater has gone down hill.

@Col45398669 Years ago, I really think Exchange and Mart was on a fairly even level with Autotrader, but slowly over time it just fell away leaving Autotrader out on its own.

@mattiem1976 Oh mate that’s fantastic, I hope he does well. He’ll probably be an F1 driver before the van is finished 🤣

Happy 2026 folks! If you want to confirm I’m still alive (or just check if I ever was) I’ll be talking about a small chunk of #TheCollection at Reigate Library 10.30, 14 Jan. facebook.com/share/14RnmMFR…

My S600 has arrived back from the painters. This car has a fascinating story, beginning with a Sheikh, a decade-long barn stay, and a YouTuber's project car… and finally, most boringly, mine.
It is the worst S Class which isn’t like saying the worst car. It’s an £800 million investment by Mercedes, it’s got radar-guided cruise for goodness sake. It’s overcomplicated but as I write this, it all still works 25 years later.
But for how long.
MOT soon and let’s see…

@bandit4470 Thanks Steve, hopefully it should start taking shape soon and looking more like a camper, than a van.

@DaveAirCEO Concorde. I did the tour of it at Brooklands earlier this year. Our guide was an ex Concorde air hostess and she was fantastic. Fascinating experience and insight into the history.

122 years ago today (December 17, 1903), the Wright brothers made their first flight. The Flyer traveled 120 feet in 12 seconds and was powered by a 4-cylinder engine producing 12 hp at 1025 rpm. It turned two fixed-pitch wooden propellers in opposite directions at 350 rpm, with a fuel capacity of 22 ounces.

Considering now how these are absolutely a two-door sedan.

Tidy E30 325i from last weekend’s Peckham Car boot sale. Unfortunately it wasn’t part of the sale.

@SeasideChris I know it’s naughty and illegal, but I’m going to let him off with a slap on the wrist as long as he promises to put a legal one on when he gets home.
