@PGDynes NO the Mediterranean sea is not on fire - any more than the sea in NSW (now at 16 degrees) is on fire. It's warmer than usual....and we do not know what has caused it...but hysteria like this does not help (scientific fact boiling point is 100 degrees)

The Mediterranean Sea is on Fire! Southern Spain & N. Africa experienced a 5°C increase in sea surface temps, indicating a heatwave escalation. It's no surprise that the heat waves on land are incredibly intense. We are boiling the oceans and scorching the land simultaneously.
