@richraymond84@pn_neil_allen I don’t hold any belief that the Eisners have any real input over who we sign, only that they will (or maybe not) make money available when it’s needed.
A second Championship club has now joined the race for #Pompey boss John Mousinho. I'm afraid it's looking increasingly remote that he will stay. portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football…
@CharlieFarnsba9@pn_neil_allen Yeah, I get that, but that’s the same the other way. There’s been nothing to report so people are filling the gaps. The Eiseners have shown, for years now, that they don’t generally share info til it’s confirmed, or thereabouts. How many transfers have we been surprised by?
In fairness to Neil though Rich, from what I’ve seen so far (unless I went to the moon and missed it) the club, the owners and CEO have not made any noise, any hint or any comment that they want John to stay.
I personally feel he upset them when he said there needs to be ambition in the summer, or words to that effect. Equally, there’s been nothing from JM neither, all we’ve had from all parties is the usual stock PR release to the media.
@pn_neil_allen I’ve generally got a lot of time for your reporting, but this just feels like making something where there may not be anything. Of course clubs can approach, but it’s a bit premature to be saying it’s looking increasingly unlikely he’ll stay. Clubs approached him before…
Waiting in the queue for #RSD2026 looking for a specific album and already seeing copies on eBay. Pretty sure that’s not the point of days like this. #Scalpers@deaconbluemusic
@WMerciaPolice@worcscc according to 101 this is not a police issue, despite being a dangerous obstruction forcing people to walk into oncoming traffic on a busy road. Barbourne Road Worcester. The council site says it is. All well and good passing the buck til someone gets hurt.
Two observations having done jury duty.
1) even though we felt the defendant was guilty. The evidence did not prove that beyond reasonable doubt. You need to be able to separate gut feel from the facts provided
2) we did not have the food spread shown on this show #thejury
@gleee128 There was a 2nd trial, the first was quashed at appeal with help from a women’s support group. The series seems to have followed the 2nd trial where Emma Magson did give evidence. It was the same outcome at both trials, which should imo have been included at the end.
Having done some research, I’ve found the real case which was recreated in the new second series of The Jury: Murder Trial. Fascinating. But it seems the defendant did not actually give evidence in the dock as shown in the series:
