Goosebumps! People often ask, is Shakespeare still relevant? Here is a great example, from the Steven Colbert Show, in which Sir Ian McKellen delivers an extraordinary speech. Shakespeare’s words are timeless, urgent and important. #Shakespeare #ianmckellen #stevencolbert

One of the things I had not appreciated until I was in the room was how a flurry of misleading - and often fake statistics - embedded with a direct mafia demand for Greenland/“Iceland” - can simultaneously brutalise the world order while also being repetitive, flat and boring.

Watch 🇫🇮 Stubb debunks russian propaganda for a full minute and a half: "Look, what has Russia achieved in the past four years? It's acquired 20 percent of the territory of Ukraine. Through military warfare, roughly two percent. In the process of doing that, it has provided about one million casualties and dead. It has decreased its sphere of influence. You can see the Central Asian countries, you can see the Southern Caucasus detaching themselves from the Russian Empire. You look at the Russian economy right now, if we go with the inflation rates of the two first weeks, we're looking at 30 percent inflation this year, 16 percent interest rates, zero growth, no more reserves, incapacity to pay the soldiers when the war ends. So I'm more worried about Russia's unwillingness to end this war because they cannot afford to do so than about Russia's capability to win this war, not end this war, because they're moving ahead. So let's keep things into perspective. NATO hasn't entered the scene yet, and they have not been able to advance in the past four years as much as expected. This war has been an utter strategic failure of President Putin. He increased the size of NATO. He made Ukraine European. He increased the defense budgets of European states. And here we are asking ourselves, shaking, are we able to defend ourselves? My answer is, yes, we are."

Yes, but Europe collectively holds a significant chunk of our national debt - enough to crash our economy if they weaponized it the way Trump weaponizes tariffs against them. The unnecessary arrogance of these clowns will be their undoing.

There was once a country where different people co-existed peacefully, its standard of living and feelgood factor was high. Until one day because its leader had never been hugged by his dad people started hating each other and its international reputation was soon in the gutter.

When Trump is literally almost drowning in oil he'll look to other international assets he can snatch. Just to prove he can. Switzerland's chocolate industry for example. The UK's monarchy along with all its residences.

He shot a woman and left. Spare me the hysterics. We saw him walk over. Look at her as she was bleeding and leave the scene. He’s a masked thug not a professional law enforcement officer. We know the difference.

Vance: He deserves a debt of gratitude and I think the media prejudging and talking about this guy as if he is a murderer is one of the most disgraceful things I have seen from the American media.

It's Bob Dylan's birthday, and you know what that means. It's time once again for THE BOB DYLAN BIRTHDAY SHOW! And of course we couldn't do it without our very special guest—the one, the only, the birthday boy himself: BOB DYLAN
