I want to thank LeBron James and his super agent Rich Paul for taking a meeting with me back in 2018 when I was President of the Lakers and deciding to sign with us. He created a whole new era for the Lakers, including leading us to an NBA Championship in 2020 and all the milestones he surpassed in a Lakers jersey. I’ll always love and be grateful for him and wish him all the best in the next phase of his life, on and off the court!

@KingJames LeBron was a winner on and off the court, and Laker fans should appreciate his performance for the last 8 years. If LeBron goes home to Cleveland, it won’t matter if they win the World Championship or not because his hometown fans will get their opportunity to say their goodbyes to one of the greatest ever. And who knows one day he may become Mayor of Cleveland !!

@EjLocascio @Deezy1994 He controls the game on both ends better than anyone in history imo. The difference in those early years was personnel 06-10. He gets at least one with a better roster/ dependable co-Star in the playoffs. He was insane even back then. Of course he improved after

@rick_g5 @Deezy1994 I’m of the belief that Bron is 1 or 1A , but I watched every playoff series he’s ever been in and he was lacking the ability to slow the game down in key moments back then. When he was able to do that 2012 on he became essentially unstoppable.

@Deezy1994 I think LeBron is better but I do think from 06-10 so basically Kobes latter half of his peak and the true start or Brons prime Kobe was the better player. 2012-2020 Bron is either the Greatest or 2nd greatest player of all time.

@jordankobewade7 Well, no.. not all facts. Farmar and Walton started in the playoffs in 07 then were able to come off the bench in 08. Replacing playoff kwame with Pau from 07 to 08 was a huge upgrade. 22-5 with Pau prior to playoffs. Pau was already an all star and ROY w/ playoff experience.

@rick_g5 i gave you all facts. the same team core that was losing is who he won with. they only added fisher and pau but pau replaced the injured bynum, so thats not a true addition. hate facts all you want big dog but they are what they are 🫡

the lakers had the same roster in the first half of 2008, only adding fisher. kobe had them in 1st in the west before the pau trade. the same roster that was the 7th seed the year before, plus fisher. read that again slowly. even when they added pau, it wasnt a true addition bc they had to get him to replace bynum who they lost to injury. so they really only added the difference between pau and bynum’s production, which was a couple more points and slightly less rebounds and blocks. now youre saying that same roster was a world beater? FOH. secondly, kobe hit 7 game winners in 2010. the difference between the 1st seed and the 8th seed was those 7 games. the west had all 50 win teams the entire playoffs. that is indeed a gauntlet. acting like this was some small feat when hardly anyone else has done it in history is crazy. 4 50 win teams en route to a title. and thats not a gauntlet???? disingenuous asf and cant even give credit where due. FOH
RimRunna23@RimRunna23g5h

The way you guys talk about Kobe going through the West, you’d think he was some underdog surviving a gauntlet every year. In reality, he usually had one of the deepest and most talented rosters in the conference. Lakers weren’t punching above their weight.
