@lightningmonkey The only security issue I've ever had was because I had a publicaly exposed phpmyadmin page, so I'd recommend against that

@lightningmonkey Also, make sure you keep whatever server you're using up-to-date. That's something a lot of people forget.

@Nemesis0320 In either case I've used gcc plenty of times to compile cpp files. Is it not working for you?

@Nemesis0320 See if the machine's got g++, but I think that's just a shortcut for gcc (or maybe it's the other way around).
