@markgoldbridge But here's the thing. When Klopp brought Mane, Wijnaldum, Oxlade, even Salah to Liverpool they were not really world beaters at their previous teams. A team just needs to gel together and Carrick looks like the man to do it.

Was a big fan of his a couple of seasons ago. Admittedly not seen much this one. But reminds me a bit of a Tom Huddlestone type midfielder if people remember him? Physical, can move with the ball, wide passing range. But not a world beater by any means
