Another random attack on the TTC. Police say a woman in her 20s was stabbed in the face & head while riding a streetcar this afternoon. Disturbing & upsetting news. We were already covering the swarming attack of two TTC employees by 10-15 teenagers when this happened.

@CityBrampton What is point of posting when by laws are not enforced. By law officers were non-existent during Diwali. We were hearing fireworks until 5 am in the morning.

@brittlestar I worked my ass of and paid back 90k student loans within 2 years of graduation. Why not make financial management course mandatory for high schoolers. Personal responsibility is lacking in some people. These people should not get any loans in the first place.

@davidcarr333 Maybe UHN @KevinSmithUHN should utilize the underemployed foreign trained docs/nurses. Last time, I visited UHN I met foreign trained cardiologist and anesthesiologist working as research assistant earning just above min wage.

We used to worry about covid patients over filling our hospital floors and ICUs. We transferred pts from one hospital to the next to cope. Now it’s not the pts but the HCW shortage. I don’t see HCW’s from other provinces coming to rescue. Other countries? Need to make HCW’s stay
