This is an excellent example on how true patriots conduct themselves even when running for president. John McCain did the right thing even though go on along with a lie may have been better for him. We should always hold our leaders to a higher standard then what Trump routinely shows. John McCain is an American hero. Both on the battlefront and as a senator. He also stood up and saved the affordable care act. He represents who we really are as Americans. And can hopefully turn the page and get back to common sense values respect in each other.

For some reason, I have been thinking about this moment a lot today. It's from John McCain in 2008 at a town hall. The woman begins to espouse conspiracy theories about Barack Obama's nationality. He immediately shuts it down. "No ma'am. He's a decent family man."

This is the nominee of the @GOP calling for the execution of an American citizen he disagrees with politically. Is this how you “protect women” @realDonaldTrump? You are unfit to serve. But we know that. You have spent the past 9yrs pissing on the legacy of the #GOP; but what is worse, is the silence of the Republican “leaders”who embraced our party’s demise. Your threats will go unchallenged by them. You know that. So do they. So voters will have to render judgment on whether they want a president who eagerly embraces the execution a fellow citizen because he doesn’t like them. Who knows which one of us he will want to “protect” next.

Any election is rigged unless Trump wins then it’s fair. When the economy has a brief downfall. Trump it’s the current administrations economy. Then turns right around and says the economy is doing great because we’re gonna elect him. You can’t have it both ways. So tired of hearing this rig stuff.
