The Shadow was one of my favorite characters when I was a kid and he's entering into the public domain in January.
The pulp heroes are so much radder than the played-out superheroes; tremendous untapped potential there. Love to see some good creators do their own takes.

Outside of stoner/ prog metal I'm really not interested in new rock music anymore. It's just too limited a form, and nothing new or exciting has been done since the 00s.
But nothing new or exciting has been done in hip hop since the late 80s, and rappers are and always have been disposable puppets for the producers. Real musicians are much harder to replace.
