Even when we try to move on from Thomas Partey, Zubimendi keeps reminding us what we’re missing.
Partey used to own these big games, dictating tempo, breaking lines, controlling chaos like it was nothing. Zubimendi? When the pressure hits, he fades… becomes invisible when we need him most.
I still remember Partey running the show against Manchester City in that 5-1 win — pure dominance.
And that moment… coming off the bench alongside Martinelli and Tomiyasu, one pass from midfield, game changed instantly. That’s impact. That’s presence.
Say what you want, but the only real upgrade Zubimendi has on Partey is availability.
And if Mikel Arteta keeps running him into the ground without managing him properly… we might lose him before he ever truly arrives.
Football doesn’t wait. Pressure doesn’t wait. Big games definitely don’t wait.

@Maraneje1 Crystal Palace beat them in FA cup last season, so no weak team in final
English

@EideballHater99 Newcastle n crystal palace won their finals against these teams last season, why don’t u people use common sense, no weak team in final
English

@VIBESFCERA Arsenal fail to win the UCL for more than 100 years, how can we expect him to win it? The same failure or curse will still continue
English

He won't win the UCL
If he wins the worst ever PL he should still be sacked.
No big club waits on a manager for 7 years to win an awful PL
Arteta has shown he can't sustain success either
Arsenal would be mad to keep him going into 2027 especially if other clubs get serious.

One trophy since 2020. If Arteta fails to win the title and/or the UCL this season should he be sacked, what do you think? 🚨𝗬𝗘𝗦 𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗢?

@AaronBSM Arteta will never be force out until he decides to leave, is u to leave if u wish to u r contributing nothing to the club.
English

@FootballEra_ U r making urself a laughing stock, who signed Odegard?

You’ll never see Arteta-stan “tacticos” talk about Zubimendi and how limited he is in buildup, simply because he’s an “Arteta signing.” Instead, they’d rather scapegoat players like Viktor Gyokeres or Odegaard. If he were a Berta signing, they’d be calling for his head.
This scapegoating culture within that section of the Arsenal fanbase is exactly why I go the extra mile to defend certain players, it’s not like I have any special attachment to them.
