Our friends saw a hedgehog running around in Steglitz today. As an American, it’s hard to imagine a hedgehog walking around in the wild—especially in a city. I would probably freak out (with happiness) if I saw one. Berlin friends, have you encountered wild hedgehogs? 🦔

The officiousness once you’re in is 🤯. I saw a Hungary fan being told he could not take his cereal bar in. 🙈 Or today, told by staff that to get water into a cup with the stadiums pic on it, had to be poured first into a Coca Cola cup, before pouring it into the other cup. 😳

Have enjoyed going to games this Euros but… Whilst it is not new that fans get treated poorly, worth saying UEFA / local authorities organisation around stadiums has been so poor. Then left to stewards / volunteers to bear the brunt of a mess that has nothing to do with them.
