In my opinion, the transfer market has gone completely crazy. Manchester City bid £120m+ package for Elliot Anderson, Real Madrid's £150m bid for an Atlético player, and West Ham asking £85m for Mateus Fernandes just show how inflated football prices have become. It genuinely feels like we're witnessing the end times for sensible transfer fees.

The number of release clauses inserted into the contracts of Premier League players is about to skyrocket. It’s the only way they’ll be able to tackle the craziness of the market and get their moves. Agents will demand them.

The fact you can probably get Mateus Fernandes + either Alex Scott or Carlos Baleba for the SAME price as Elliot Anderson is a bit absurd.

Manchester United should never pay more than £100 million for Elliot Anderson & I don’t blame them for going higher with the depth of talent in the market & the amount of business they have to do elsewhere. If that’s where he wants to go & take the gigantic pay day, good luck to him tbh. United aren’t quite at the point where the finances are fixed enough to pay more in both fees & wages. This doesn’t change anything we didn’t already know after the first bid anyway.

£120M+ for Elliot Anderson is ABSURD. No wonder nothing has progressed there. Genuinely thought Forest would accept £100M ish.

Manchester City's spending has inflated the transfer market to the point where good players now come with outrageous price tags. United shouldn't be dragged into overpaying just to keep up. If the value isn't right, walk away and move on, there are other priorities to address.

I was thinking about my favourite Word Cup moment then it occurred to me that 4 World Cups will have passed since certain club won the English premier league title and that just made my day 😊

Rashford looked at his best under Ole and in Ten Hag's first season. The right system clearly brings out the best in him. If he dropped his wages from £350k to £250k a week, I would take him back without hesitation.

Barcelona ending their interest in Marcus Rashford over a reported £26m fee doesn't surprise me at all. The Frenkie de Jong saga showed how drawn-out and complicated dealings with them can become. Manchester United should stop wasting time negotiating with clubs that aren't serious about doing clean business. If you want the player, pay a fair price. If not, move on.
