Isso é uma questão de probabilidade. Só fazer a conta. Vc calcula a prob de perder cada pênalti na sequência, a taxa de conversão de cada jogador, e arranja de maneira ótima. Eu não fiz a conta, mas isso é fácil de fazer. Futebol pré-analytics vai na intuição.

Tite afirmou ao GE que errou ao não definir que Neymar batesse o primeiro pênalti contra a Croácia. Não costumo usar a palavra SEMPRE no futebol, pois o futebol é repleto de particularidades e casos especiais. Mas uma das exceções do uso do SEMPRE é sobre o primeiro batedor de uma disputa de penalidades: o melhor batedor disponível tem SEMPRE que bater o primeiro pênalti! Sou intransigente com isso.

@mgaldino Se a prob de converter NÃO depender de estar na frente na contagem ou do batedor anterior do seu time ter convertido, diria que a ordem não importa. WLG, assuma que todos os 5 batedores batem mesmo se não tiver mais chance de ganhar.

Parei pra olhar os relacionados e dá até pra compreender o Ferraresi ficar de fora, mas não por opção técnica e sim por limite de estrangeiros. Justino já é opção brasileira na zaga e o Telles de fora faz o Johan Hernández estar na lista, se não temos só um LE. Como o Chris Ramos voltou e o Kadir de qualquer forma seria um estrangeiro a contar, não tem muito pra onde correr. A questão é que ele não vai deixar o Bastos de fora por uma questão de gerenciar elenco também.

Prof. Romano Amerio’s Iota Unum: A Study of Changes in the Catholic Church in the XXth Century is among the most learned and influential works of Catholic traditionalism, highly critical of theological innovations of the post-conciliar period. However, as Amerio emphasizes in his chapter on war, it is a serious mistake to think modern papal statements critical of war reflect pacifism or post-conciliar mushiness and liberalism. Rather, they represent a consistent development of traditional just war principles with precedents in papal statements (from Leo XIII, Benedict XV, and Pius XII) going back before Vatican II. As Amerio notes in the passages below, what is different about the modern period are not the principles but the circumstances – in particular, the massive harm to civilian populations caused by aerial bombardment and other modern methods of warfare. It is because of these unacceptable side effects that the Church has long rejected war as an instrument of policy (as contrasted with defensive war to repel aggression), and instead commends international law and supranational organizations as means of resolving disputes. Hence, Pope Leo XIV’s recent comments do not reflect any innovation, but on the contrary are in line with what the Church has been saying about war under modern conditions since at least the late nineteenth century.
