@taylorotwell Not till now. But what i can see is that the merge method do not append the new value into request object. When i log the output, the value of request()->all() and $this->all() is not the same inside prepareForValidation method.

@rinfelc Can you find what broke it?

@taylorotwell In Laravel 9.37.0, in request prepareForValidation, when updating the input value using $this->merge, the updated value is not available using request() global helpers. This was working in 9.34. The last match case is empty.

Once in a while, I accidentally happen to create really cool solution for a complex problem where the solution is more elegant than the output. On the flip side, mostly, no one will ever see my solution as the code repo being private & myself being a full-stack solo #dev 🧑‍💻
