i use mal to track my own stuff but ratings are dead an gone. it’s not even the review bombing, but the constant 10s. one episode off frieren drops, S2E1 and boom it’s the best anime ever produced. one episode of a brand new jojos part, SBR, is the best anime ever? those 40 minutes? seriously? not to mention every new gen shonen. jjk gachiakuta dandadan all have around 8.5s. are we seriously going to pretend like dandadan 12 episodes are better than all of one piece or naruto? or other series that are objectively better. it’s fucking insanity. loads of copium.
