Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice ~

Anni and Fayyaz are flying to Southern Hemisphere, Addu City, tomorrow. Everyone must go to airport at 1 pm to receive them. Take your babies with you too. In 2010, Anni's gov officially designated Addu Atoll as Maldives’ second city, replacing the old system with a unified municipal council and laying the foundation for modern urban governance. He personally drove the hosting of the historic 17th SAARC Summit in November 2011, getting physically involved by picking up a shovel to dig at Equatorial Convention Centre site in Hithadhoo, motivating officials, workers and the entire community to accelerate the project and deliver it in record time. He inaugurated the centre, now converted into the Addu Equatorial Hospital. He fast tracked major infrastructure upgrades including roads, ports and public facilities after decades of neglect. Complementing this vision, Fayyaz Ismail, as Minister of Economic Development, played a huge role in advancing Addu’s economic future during the period 2018-23. He spearheaded the ambitious Hankede Integrated Tourism Development Project, which aimed to create over 2,000 tourist beds, generate 1,500 jobs and bring substantial new infrastructure and revenue to the city. These two people love Addu and Addu must love them. Period.
