The children have experimented with natural autumnal materials, exploring the markings they leave behind in the clay.

Our pine cones have sparked lots of engagement in the water this morning. The children have been investigating if they float or sink and how fast they can go in the water 🫙

The children have shown a great interest in spiders. We have captured our children’s curiosity and creativity. What a way to start the week.

We have been busy collecting natural resources for our mud kitchen this morning 🌸🌱🌿

The children have enjoyed a rainy morning in the garden, we’ve been using the water to colour mix with Ms Crandon 💙💛💜❤️

We have enjoyed exploring our new sewing area. The children decided that they’d like to make some outfits for the babies 👶🏻

The Butterfly children have been leaving their mark by helping us make some backing paper for our classroom displays next year ♥️🦋🐝

We can’t believe that we are nearly at the end of the year. 32 journals all ready for 32 brilliant butterflies 🦋

Butterflies have started their “changing me” topic to get ready for their transition into Year One. Today we’ve been talking about our bodies, we drew around our friends to draw and label what we can see! 🦋👀👂🏼👄👃🏿👣

The animal park caused lots of excitement and many children wanted to join us to create their own animal swings 🦭🦕

“Come and look at our animal park” - we were delighted to observe this park unfold this afternoon, from slides to monkey bars to swings. We had some fantastic problem solving and team work to create the perfect swing for our little gorilla 🦍

We have been making photo frames for our photos. Butterflies have been busy creating and talking about the types of patterns they have made with their beads ❤️
