@Cndn4Life Alberta doesn’t have a distinct culture? Come to Calgary in July and try saying that with a straight face.

@RiseOfAlberta Virtually every one of them is a distinct culture or society, something Alberta doesn't have. Many were the result of the dissolution of the Soviet Union and of Yugoslavia so they regained previous independence which was taken from them. Some paid for independence with blood.

Since 1990, the world has seen over 35 new countries. The idea that Alberta could become one is not radical. The radical idea is believing Alberta must fund a broken system forever.

Canada once had standards for immigration. Ottawa abandoned them, overwhelmed the system, and left provinces like Alberta to absorb the strain. Alberta independence means responsible immigration again.

Canada’s problem with Alberta is not just who is in power. It is the structure itself. A Liberal government ignores Alberta. A Conservative government may slow the damage. However, Independence is the only path that actually fixes the problem.

Equalization. Representation. Pipelines. Federal overreach. Pick any grievance. Now name one federalist with a real plan to fix it. You can't. Neither can they.

I think a policy similar to this one would be great in an Independent Alberta.

I don't care. I'm not interested in the infighting. At the end of the day, Alberta has to go. That is my focus... for for my child, and his future.

No federalist can give you a roadmap for how Alberta gets a fair deal inside Canada. Because there is no mechanism to make it happen. Even a CPC majority won't touch equalization. There is no argument for staying in Canada. Alberta independence is the only logical conclusion.
