Loftus's most notable experiment, referred to as the "mall study”, although the full name is “the formation of false memories”, Loftus aimed to prove that it was relatively easy to implant full or partial “false memories” of a childhood event that never actually happened. Participants were presented with a fabricated account of having been lost in a shopping mall as a child, alongside several true memories provided by family. I just don't understand why Libertarians can't see that this kind of degeneracy and hedonism is harmful to the cause of Liberty.
