Last heard similar things in 2019 in the name of corporate governance.
Markets gave an excellent opportunity to pick stocks for 2 years. When things turned, good money was made. Requires courage to buy for 1-2 years and then patience to maximize by holding another 2-3 years. A 5-6 year burst to boom cycle

Asked someone from the industry whether foreign investors are still interested in allocating to India. The TLDR: Interest has pretty much died out. India is seen as geopolitically exposed, especially to an oil shock. There are no real AI plays. Valuations are rich. And the rupee situation doesn't help. On top of that, investors who were sitting on gains have taken money off the table and are now looking at markets like Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Europe etc instead. He also pointed out that our LTCG/STCG structure and the increase in STT have made India less attractive compared to other markets that are seeing inflows. If we need to attract FPIs back, and we do, fixing this feels like pretty low-hanging fruit.

Nothing has changed since a year back whenhandles were pumping up the market and everything was all so rosy and beautiful. Discreetly same guys were moving to cash. Its all about valuations,now valuations are in a decent zone. Impossible to predict bottom so do disciplined buying

Each such pessimistic statement is a validation of contrarian investing and confirmation of the bottom.
Bottom was done for me a month back. Putting cash to use. Portfolio steadily going back to ATH.
Only variable now are the oil prices over which we have no control.

@investor_sr33 Start buying. Bottom is already done / approaching fast. More the pessimism reduce your cash component and put in quality small and midcaps with a 3 to 5 year horizon.
