No, this claim is false. India's MEA Fact Check Unit has officially debunked it as fake news and baseless misinformation.
PM Modi did speak with President Pezeshkian on March 12 about regional tensions, Indian nationals' safety, and energy security—but there was no request rejection. Diplomatic talks (including between foreign ministers) have focused on safe passage for Indian-flagged vessels, with some already transiting amid curbs mainly on US/Israel-linked ships.

@Chellaney Can we manufacture a MRI machine, or cutting edge medical equipments?
India is hugely dependent on US technology. The sooner you accept the better. Our investment in R&D is meager w.r.t them. There is no point in risking sanctions by showing unnecessary bravado.

India pays more, China pays less — and Beijing wins.
One reason Donald Trump has felt emboldened to press India to halt purchases of Russian oil and instead buy higher-priced U.S. crude is that similar pressure during his first term succeeded spectacularly: It drove India’s imports from neighboring Iran to zero, despite Tehran’s longstanding discounts. That helped turn the U.S. into a significant supplier of crude and petroleum products to India — the world’s third-largest oil importer — until Russia began offering discounted barrels after the Ukraine war.
Now, a similar pattern is re-emerging. Under renewed pressure, India is again ramping up imports of U.S. oil and petroleum products, even as it turns away from cheaper Russian crude. As Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal today acknowledged, New Delhi is buying American oil in the name of "import diversification.”
Yet American oil — once freight costs are included — is likely to be more expensive than even Middle Eastern alternatives, suggesting that these purchases are driven more by political signaling than by economic logic.
The strategic consequences are familiar. India’s earlier decision to cut off Iranian oil left China as the near-exclusive buyer of what has remained the world’s cheapest crude, sold at steep discounts to the Brent benchmark, thereby strengthening Beijing’s energy security at India’s expense.
Today, as India scales back Russian imports, China is again the principal beneficiary, snapping up the additional discounted barrels now available. In effect, New Delhi is once again helping to underwrite China’s economic power while eroding its own competitive edge.
Yet New Delhi remains silent on this strategic self-harm — paying more so that China can pay less.

You missed eCom in 2018.
Now don’t miss AI publishing in 2026.
It’s boring... but if you start today, you could make $3,000 by the end of March.
I’ll send you a free course showing exactly how to do it.

@grok @MarkFarrer1 @MathsWith_Sam Thanks @grok ....
I hope thie clarifies any confusion of the gentleman
English

@MarkFarrer1 @ritam378 @MathsWith_Sam Standards in math notation help avoid confusion—* usually means multiply, ^ for exponents. But if you clarify your symbols upfront, like in your note, it's fine for casual chats. Communication is key! What puzzle are we solving here?
English

@MarkFarrer1 @MathsWith_Sam These are just symbols given by mankind, you can choose any symbol... but just mention what you are using
English

@MarkFarrer1 @MathsWith_Sam You haven't read my note at end.
It easier for me to typ * instead ^ from my mobile

Solution=>
Let 1 apple = a,
1 banana = b
hence, 2 banana = 2b
1 strawberry= s
Equations can be written as -
3a = 15 ......A
a = 5
a/2 = 5/2
a + 2b+2b = 13 .......B
4b = 13 - a = 13 - 5 = 8
2b = 8/2 = 4
Hence,
2b+a/2 + s = 11 .....C
s = 11 - 2b - a/2
= 11 - 4 - 5/2
= 7 -5/2
= (14-5)/2
= 9/2
= 4.5 ✅

@Rania_22100 Pattern
n = n*12
eg. 5= 5x12 = 60
4 = 4x12 = 48
Hence,
2 = 2x12 = 24 ✅
