@BilgeEbiri I totally get what Kael is saying. Streep has a quintessential kindness and warmth to her that pours through even when she's playing characters that don't possess it. Like in Devil Wears Prada. Streep has perfect energy for screwball and feel good comedy

I’ve thought long and hard about why I have such difficulty transitioning my focus from live stand up to clip posting despite overwhelming evidence the latter is more profitable and my conclusion is bc the internet is for fuckin dorks
