@Deb_livnletliv @pbhushan1 Vishal - Hats off to you. Very few of the (powerful) celebrities of Bollywood have this courage. They are happy towing the line and singing praises. What can you expect from people endorsing Gutkha, packaged food, and fairness creams. Shame on them. More power to you 👍

Vishal Dadlani rips apart BJP on NEET Question paper leak 🚨 “Stop voting for illiterate ignorant people! Those who themselves are illiterate won't understand the value of education, which is why scams like NEET never stop!” At least someone still has a spine in Bollywood 🔥

1️⃣/7 — Thread: Reflections from IndiaAI Summit 🚀 Summits like IndiaAI spark inception of ideas that challenge the status quo. I was fortunate to hear great minds—one of them, Vinod Khosla. His projection? AGI/ASI could arrive as early as 2030. #AI #futureofwork #AGI

Look who I spotted at the AI Impact Summit today in Delhi...!! It's @ylecun – Meta's Chief AI Scientist. But what's wrong here is that even he's going through all the security checks like a normieee...!! I believe this guy has done enough for humanity to deserve a direct entry, but the real F*cK is that NO one here in India recognises him at our so-called great Global AI Impact Summit. Something's been really wrong with the management. #AISummit #Meta #AI #NewDelhi #Summit #IndiaAIImpactSummit2026 #IndiaAISummit2026 #AIImpactSummit

@Akshat_World In other countries companies innovate to create value. In India, crony capitalists get exclusive licenses, govt contracts, and affect policy changes to kill competition. That's how indian big businesses become richer and richer.

China follows ruthless capitalism. And, India follows ruthless Crony-ism. The Chinese firms have a singular objective: optimizing quality per unit of cost. This makes China ultra-competitive. An example can be picked from EV industry:- Over 100 EV makers, including BYD, Geely, Xpeng, Nio, Leapmotor, and Xiaomi are in an intense price war for EV dominance in China. In 2025, BYD (despite being a local leading player) lost 12% of its sales due to record deliveries by rivals like Geely. They had launched Geely Xingyuan (priced $9250) Even Tesla now desperately struggles in China. And, can't compete in the budget segment anymore. This is just 1 example of how innovation floats through the economy. And, benefits the masses. As a result: China has now become one of the most affordable economies to live. With time, as their export capabilities kick in, they will become even more competitive. Now let's compare it to India: Crony Capitalists here own roads, airports, ports, telecomm, mining contracts-- you name it. While globally except for IT/pharma we struggle. National resources have been slowly privatized using public's money. Now, we are in a situation where private players control your electricity, water, telephone -- and all things that one needs to survive. Equity markets simply helped accelerate the aggregation of these resources for the rich.

China is ~ 5 times bigger than India’s GDP. MSCI China is ~ 5 % of MSCI India’s return over more than three decades. What explains such a contrast in GDP growth vs Market Returns?

It's a weird time. I am filled with wonder and also a profound sadness. I spent a lot of time over the weekend writing code with Claude. And it was very clear that we will never ever write code by hand again. It doesn't make any sense to do so. Something I was very good at is now free and abundant. I am happy...but disoriented. At the same time, something I spent my early career building (social networks) was being created by lobster-agents. It's all a bit silly...but if you zoom out, it's kind of indistinguishable from humans on the larger internet. So both the form and function of my early career are now produced by AI. I am happy but also sad and confused. If anything, this whole period is showing me what it is like to be human again.
