the place where MG Road Metro Station stands today used to house Plaza Theatre which was started in 1936 and used to screen Hollywood movies. it was shut down in 2005, sold to somebody who wanted to build a mall but it never happened as the metro station was built in the premises! OG Bangaloreans loved this place growing up.

Just finished an online consultation with the mother of a 3 year old boy (with no disease) from Gujarat (for height & weight issues).
The mother told me she hasn’t given her child sugar till now.

She said, “The paediatrician told me not to give sugar.”

I was in Bengaluru for 2 days. Visited few of my relatives. None of their kids can speak Kannada fluently coz Kannada is not their mother tongue & kids don't get a chance to interact with ppl in Kannada.
How will Kannadiga Kids learn Kannada?
