India is one of the most expensive countries for the rich. I recently bought Toyota RAV4 in UAE. Total cost: 109K AED or INR 25.6L (including insurance, 3 year maintenance etc). If I would have bought this car in India. My total cost would be 40 Lakhs. Now: the thing is that to get that 40L, I would first need to pay at least 30% taxes (vs 0% tax in UAE). So my total cost would be INR 57.14L That's more than double the price. But, people talk about "PPP". And, how India is so inexpensive. It is only inexpensive for a certain segment of people. If you want good things in life: good house, decent car, education for kids, safety etc. You have to pay a "massive" premium. PPP data does not capture this. I am not handpicking just a car. Try this out for a decent house, school education, anything. Except for healthcare, most things are hyper expensive now (even Healthcare will become expensive in India in a few years). There is a reason why we now have the highest (millionaire migration/millionaire) ratio in the world.

Was so predictable last week, far far too many people were salivating to use Kobbie as a reason to try and push the manager out. Amorim has to win football games, using Kobbie better is ideally something that helps with that, and he should have played yesterday. But let's be real, a lot of this is people who wanted Amorim out anyway piping up and adding to the drama. It is what it is.
